Anne Marie Norberte ROY
24 February 1953, Quebec City, QC — 8 April 2024, Victoria, BC
Survived by son Paul, and daughter Rachelle (Bay), and sister Rachel Penney and her immediate family; also many cousins in Nova Scotia and Quebec.
Anne was a force of nature to all who knew her: fiercely loyal to all whom she loved, with the most ferociously loving and generous heart. She was a hilarious, fun, energetic and mischievous accomplice, always ready to help out, laugh or cry as needed. Never one to be idle, she was endlessly finding ways to make life better and more beautiful.
She loved her homes: Quebec, where she was born, Nova Scotia, where she grew up, and Vancouver Island, where she planted her family. She loved education and she loved teaching, which she did in various communities throughout British Columbia. She loved all animals, especially horses, and will be happy to reunite with all her beloved pets who’ve awaited her crossing the rainbow bridge.
Anne wasn’t one to let go: she held her hopes and dreams through to the very end. Anne was: Possibility, Radiance, Love, Joy & Devotion.
“I have had the Blessing of MANY friends and acquaintances over the years and CHERISH them all.
