Benjamin Friesen

Ben Friesen passed away peacefully in Nanaimo on October 12, 2018.
He was born on November 10, 1938 near Osler, SK, and worked in the cattle industry in Saskatchewan and Alberta for many years before moving to Nanaimo in 2001. He enjoyed golf, scroll-saw woodworking, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Ben was predeceased by his wife of 49 years Florence (2013), and by his brothers Isbrand and Henry. He is survived by his son Duane (Winnie) and grandchildren Amanda and Emily; by his daughter Deanna; and by his brothers and sisters: Ann, Kay, Elizabeth, Dave, Margaret, Justine, Nettie and Walter. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
There will be a private gathering with his family in Saskatchewan at a later date.
