Special thanks to her best friends Ileana and Derek Dorken, Brenda and Don Grenier and the doctors, nurses and staff on the 4th floor at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.

Connie was a wonderful wife, mother and friend. Her three greatest joys were her family, especially her only granddaughter Taylor and of course fishing. As a young girl, Connie followed her dad and three brothers to every lake, creek and river and it was said that she could catch a fish in a mud puddle. She loved the outdoors, going for walks and trips to Reno prior to her first stroke 15 years ago. The 2nd stroke on April 8th took her from us but she will always be with us in our hearts.
