Kenneth John Aziz

Kenneth John Aziz, age 74, died very peacefully on September 27, 2020, at Nanaimo General Hospital, after coming to terms with his health.
Ken was born Oct 22,1945 in Calcutta, India to Micheal and Winifred Aziz. In 1960, the family immigrated to Saskatchewan with older brother Charles and younger sister Barbara. In 1967, Ken met and married his beloved wife Molly and continued happily for 53 years. Ken is survived by his wife, his daughter Sabrina (Gary), son Mark (Carolin), and 2 granddaughters Jordan and Meagan.
In 1973, Ken moved the family to Victoria where he was a dedicated social worker with the BC Government, a playing member of the Victoria District Cricket Association, and a loyal member of the Chemainus Royal Canadian Legion and also Rotary Club.
He loved spending time in his garden, a renouned chef in the kitchen, listening and dancing to music (jazz being his fav), and had a passion for photography. Ken was known to put a smile on everyone's face and make everyone in the room at ease as he touched many lives with his generosity and passion for life.
Family and friends are invited to make a toast, wherever you are, to Celebrate the Life of Ken, on October 22, from 4-6pm, (his happy hour), to his memory.
